Good morning, I am a recent under-grad and working as a BI Developer. I’m looking at transitioning to a project or product manager role and I have 1+ YOE. I know the job market is not that great as of now but I’ve applied to countless PM roles and have had no success. I want to know from other PM’s if it’s necessary for me to get a PMP certification before I can get a job or it’s not that of a requirement?

Want to interview for BCG data engineer principal/ manager role in coming weeks. Anyone willing to refer?

I’m on the Board of entity A (volunteer basis) and I’ll have an interview for a legal counsel position at entity B. Entity A and B have a partnership such that me working for entity B will create conflict of interest. Should I disclose my relationship with entity A during the initial interview with entity B’s hiring manager? If so, what should I say? I don’t want my volunteer job at entity A potentially jeopardizes my full-time job at entity B.

Just started a PM job and 7 weeks into the role my manager is surprised I had not designed a roadmap. Is this bad?

Anyone know what Program Manager packages range from at Intuit? I feel low-balled. I was on the initial 30 minute call and they asked my expectations, so I stated I’d like to here their range. They stated max salary: 167k, rsu 70k (4yrs to vet), and bonus 15%. I expect salary to be 225-300k and RSU to be over 100k

Hey all- I feel like I have always seen conflicted suggestions on when to leave and what position to leave for. I am an S2 (manager promo would be next year) making 80k in MCOL in audit. I have an offer for a senior accountant position with equity grant at hire and 100k base, no annual bonus. I feel like the base increase is more than I thought I could get, but is that true? I made 90k almost 2 years ago (coz of bonus and it was a good year) so wondering what that looks like now since im thinking of going back to that environment after being in f500

I know this varies based on the company but besides project needs from the hiring manager, does anybody take multiple months between when your background check clears and you actually start? I don’t want to immediately jump from job to job but not sure if taking some time off is generally accepted.

Recently started as a manager at current company, been here for 8-10 weeks. I realized I just don’t wanna work here anymore and feel like I need to change a function. Which role in Consulting is equivalent to AVP in Insurance companies? Base salary looks to be lower than Manager level although WLB would be better is my guess..

Has anyone exited consulting so a senior finance manager role in tech? Not sure I want to keep doing strategy and have good background in finance, but worried that salaries will be significantly lower than the usual bizdev/ S&O consulting exit.
