Any tips from folks who negotiated comp for a senior role at a late stage, non-FAANG, Bay Area tech company? Don’t know how far I can push on equity or a signing bonus. There is no cash bonus and from everything I’ve read it’s difficult to push on salary and I’m already near the top of the range I understand to apply to the role. 🙏🏼

BCG Senior Knowledge Analyst, London - Wholesale banking role, asking for 4-6 years experience. Anyone know what salary range is for this type of role?

I have worked 8+ years in HR and Staffing for the EPC industry - looking to make a move to the consulting industry. I'm in advanced stages of interviews with Deloitte for a Human Capital (GPS) Senior Consultant role and with PwC for a Resource/Deployment Manager position. They are two completely different roles and I think I could be happy in either - any insight from current HC Consultants/Managers at Deloitte or Resource/Deployment Managers at PwC? Positives/Negatives?

I’m a 2nd year going to trial on a team with just a 5th year and the (very hands off) partner. I have trial experience, she doesn’t. I’ve also been on the case for 2 years, and she joined recently. I feel like I’ve been thrust into a senior associate role, managing deadlines, delegating work, and reviewing the mid’s work product. Im very grateful for the opportunities, but also stressed to be working above my experience level/managing someone senior. Any words of wisdom to help navigate this?

Software Sales question: I just got a job offer to join a post-Series A with under 20 employees.
On the equity piece, I was offered .1% equity at a $142m valuation. This is a Senior / Director Sales role where I'll be blending IC duties + managing a team as we grow. I felt this offer was a bit low from the equity side. Anyone know how to evaluate this?

In the later stages of interview process for an in-house exec role for a small company. Went through the process directly with the company - now I’m competing with another person found by an exec search firm. Company wants me to talk tomorrow to the exec search firm too so they can evaluate my experience. Feeling a lot of self doubt as the other candidate is a senior leader and has done this before - whereas it’s more of a stretch role for me… any advice?!

Sharing for transparency…I left my strategy consulting job for a corporate strategy role at a large industrials company. At the senior manager level, I was offered 180 base and 20% bonus target. The base was comparable to what I made in consulting and bonus is probably a bit lower (but varies by year, last year my bonus in consulting was basically nothing). I’m sharing because when I was recruiting I wasn’t sure it was possible to find a role like this and I’m glad I was wrong!

Hello! I have 3 yrs work experience at a top strategy boutique in Europe. I have now offers to join EYP at Senior Level in Western Europe (leading tier 2 in the market), Kearney in Dubai at Senior level too and a “head of strategy” position for a SME company (700 FTE) in Western Europe. I’m leaning towards the head of strategy as it’s rare those positions are open after only 3 years and CEO is giving me loads of freedom. Which one would you choose ? I want to feel confident about my choice

How do you deal with a colleague (not same position but works synergistically with your role) making a huge error and then blaming everything on you saying you told them to do what they did. There is no proof I told them that (I didn’t anyways) and our exec believes me, but the colleague is now talking to our associates about the incident trying to turn them on me. They’re also 40 years my senior (in age not role as mentioned before we work together).
