Deciding between OC&C Associate Consultant or Oliver Wyman Senior Consultant?

The base salaries offered are the same.

~ 2 YOE, want to be a career consultant to become a Partner, which firm offers the best pathway (i.e. growth, both personal and firm), benefits in the long-term and exit around EM level (to MBB). No particular interest in one sector yet.

Startup Corp Dev Comp?

Got an offer for a corporate development role at a pre-ipo startup. Senior manager title but not really meaningful as it’s a startup, essentially I’ll be the only corp dev guy outside of the c-suite.

205k USD cash comp + 115K USD options (net value at current private valuation). IPO likely to happen over the next year.

Wondering if anyone knew a rough TC comp range to expect for a company at this stage? I’m weighing this role vs an IBD VP role (BB).

Need advice on whether I should accept an offer for solution engineer at Salesforce versus staying as senior consultant (salesforce implementation) at Big 4. Will make manager in 12 months at Big4, versus likely taking 24 months to make senior SE at Salesforce. Salesforce role will be a 10% base comp increase and 50% total comp increase compared to my current role. Thoughts on what I should do?

I’m a recently promoted manger at a mid-size PA firm. Eventually, I want to switch to industry (probably F500 companies), but it seems that these companies are looking for people with big4 experience only. Is it worth to go to big4 for a few more years or should I just keep looking and stay at my firm? My only concern is that I will lose my manager title if I go to big4. Guys - looking for some guidance in negotiating one level up than senior consultant position. With over 13 years of experience and of which last 5 years in management consulting, I have been offered a senior consultant position with a small strategy consulting firm in tmt space ( small - 450 people globally). I am looking to see if I can negotiate for manager position. The position will make me move from low cost city to New York.

I accepted a role as Senior cybersecurity consultant with GT yesterday. I had another offer from Capgemini and the hiring manager in my call today with her offered to bump up my base by 10K and gave me option to work totally remote.
Just to give you all some perspective, Capgemini clients is in ICS/OT space whereas GT has not specified where they plan to place me but said they have many security engagements in pipeline.

I'm expecting an offer from Accenture in the next couple of days. The recruiter mentioned that compensation for my area (T1) and level would start at 90k+10k bonus. Would it be reasonable to ask for 100k base? I'm coming in as an experienced hire. This is for a senior analyst (CL10) position in CDP. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Can you help with comparison of two offers? 1) Director role at a non-FAANG but large tech firm. TC is ~300k. Good WLB reputation, but the team / role is not ideal, it is helping with value prop and positioning of one of their software for industry clients. Not sales role though. 2) DoorDash senior manager, TC will be 260-280 being negotiated. The role is a new market strategy team so I like, but the culture sounds similar to consulting and stock price trajectory uncertain

GCR Senior interview with EY tomorrow. Supervisor at current mid tier. What should I expect? Not much Provision/Corp experience so worried they might undermine my current position.

Currently an experienced Manager in Cyber at Deloitte. Anticipating an offer for a Senior Manager role at EY Cyber in the near future. EY recruiter indicated it’s a matter of approvals and finalizing terms. Believe EY offer will be somewhere around 250k. Currently at 125k. Have been given indication at D that SM promotion is in the cards and roadblocks are likely minimal. I’d like to stay but uncertain if D could match.

Are there any great exit opportunities from audit? I am a SA2 and cannot take it anymore after working here for 1 month. My senior “enjoys” working long hours and expects me to do the same. I did not sign up to work 7 days a week. I don’t mind transferring to another B4, but I do not prefer to work long, ridiculous hours.

I already know that external audit has better exit opportunities than internal audit, and internal audit has better WLB & higher pay, any other reasons for choosing one over the other? Appreciate any insight.
