Layoffs - I heard a lot of layoffs at Huron and Studer of Directors and above. Time to jump ship ?

Client is going to announce layoffs tomorrow as a result of our work. What have your teams done in regards to safety under these circumstances?

Friend was an entry level Research Assistant at a biotech startup, who just got fired for making a rookie mistake. Company was completely toxic, and often took verbal abuse from his manager.

Ethical or not: Company has given a heads up that I will be laid off in exactly 3 months. If I am employed on that day I will get 4 weeks severance + roughly half of my yearly bonus (cont.)

didn’t see my layoff coming. 😕.. was one of the top performer in the practice with 2 in 3 years and then laid off due to politics and favoritism in the leadership. I know I will not fall but hurts.
