I have the Chase Ink Business Cash card with 130,000 points, which I got from buying Visa gift cards from Staples to maximize the points I earned. It’s the only Chase card I have. Should I get the Sapphire Reserve or Preferred card so that I can increase redemption options? I’m wanting to use the points to book round trip plane tickets from US to Taiwan.

Hotel badly messed up a stay. Manager said in person id get points. I suggested 2 nights of points and never received any. I reached out, was told id get points from the manager again via email and didn’t. Never heard back so i escalated to Ambassador, who was also ignored. Ambassador gave me 30k points just for waiting a month. Finally, Ambassador said the manager gave me points but she didn’t know how many. Hotel gave me…1k…seems like a slap in the face? I am a newer manager and I am making $5-10k less than managers of various tenures in different departments. Could I just flat out utilize the company data, in addition to outside data points? With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?
