I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

I am a senior student graduating in a couple of months. I am going to join Google this fall as a SWE. My previous work experience includes an internship at Google, and a summer spent working on open source (PostgreSQL) during Google Summer of Code. In addition to a lot of college coursework projects (CE major). Most of these projects are worth mentioning and they cover a diverse range of fields.

At what point should I drop coursework projects from my Resume/LinkedIn?

Working at a company and they can’t seem to hold on to their female, black and people of color employees. I blinked and 3 of the people who were in my onboarding class were either fired or they left. For context I’ve been in company less than a year and there are people who have been in the company 25yrs. I’m thinking of cutting loose before it gets to my turn.

If I’m coming into Salesforce as a L6 in CSM, would I be able to get RSUs once promoted to L7? Does it work like that?

I work in field sales as an IC. My aspirational career path is to end up in people leadership. Recently, an Inside management position opened up that’s been brought to my attention by the hiring director. Question is, is going back Inside the right move to get into started in leadership? I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this?
