Copywriter with serious imposter syndrome at new job! How do senior writers up their game? Was in-house 1.5 years and underpaid in NYC. With only previous freelance experience (and nonprofit and grant writing before that) figured I had to slog through it for years. Cut to now, 6 months into a new copywriting role at huge tech company. My salary almost quintupled overnight. I think I’m doing great, but that depends on the day and who I work with (no other writers by the way).

Hi, I am currently working with a startup as a software engineer. I joined first as an android developer and after 1 year I became SDE-1 and now it's been 1 year more and I have given my resign and now serving notice period. I don't yet have been able to get new opportunity somewhere else but I was sure to leave the current company due to unstable work life balance and heavy work load, so how should I further find a new company that has good work life balance and higher salary. I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.
