You have two options:
1. Break up with your gf
2. Never leave consulting
Both will get old. Be happy now
Give it a month and if things don’t change then break up you should enjoy spending every second with your significant other.
I think people who say they are happy being around each other 24/7 for several weeks either are happy despite the circumstances and somewhat annoying things of their SO, or they don’t view them as annoying/ care too much about their SO’s habits (in terms of lower your expectations). I think every person has the potential to trigger you at some point, it is just a question of how you deal with it.
Just deal with it for God’s sake. Stop whining about q-tips and dirty feet. There are far more important things to deal with right now.
Guess you are forced to learn to talk, and learn to compromise. It’s not instagramable, but that’s how relationships work.
I lived w my wife 3 years and have been married 35 years
No one is meant to spend every minute together. Go clear your head, you won't feel so annoyed.
Do you ever think your GF is tolerating you? Maybe she believes you’re controlling and OCD and accepts you for who you are. I’ll see your ass on 90 fiance’ next season dude. It would be great! #90dayfiance
Wow is this for real .... my wife and I have so many differences - like she is super chilled and can be messy and I am super clean... so I do go the extra mile but that doesn’t mean I am going to split with her for anything in the world.
Power to you that you want a picture perfect life and that unicorn SO ... good luck...!!
I wouldn’t waste another minute in this relationship. This is what family cases are made of.
So much for the 9 months from now Corona Baby Boom... ;)

Read something today that is sooo timely for this conversation (credit to Carolyn Hax of the Washington Post): Sharing a home requires granting people room to be themselves. If in that process you come across something in someone’s behavior that you try to look past or brush off but just aren’t able to, then it’s ok to say ‘X bugs me, would you please do Y instead?” And if that doesn’t work, then you have to come up with your own Plan B.”
OP what's the update? Did you talk, break up, make up? We need the deetz

I am surprised by all the comments on this post. She hasn’t been able to go home because her roommate came back from
Europe and she didn’t want to go back there. She is now back at her place. I told her that for the sake of our relationship, it would be best if she went back to her place now that her roommate has stayed home for more than 15 days. She was disappointed. I think she thought we were going to move in together after this to save money. I still like her a lot but certain things were really annoying/gross.
If you didn't have an honest conversation, then I 100% get her disappointment. She was probably so happy to spend time with you and doesn't get why you don't want to keep company w/her through this. I've been in a (small scale) similar situation where space was needed but wasn't clear to me why (reasonably) when I thought it was going so well. Like you should want that, right? so all I took from it was, "he doesn't want to be with me, he doesn't like spending time with me, something is wrong with me, we're breaking up, this is bad." If that is true, then maybe just call it, but if you just genuinely need some boundaries, want to be with her, and think you can work through it, then be really honest about that and work towards a plan together.
Also, unless she said "let's move in after this" don't assume that was her immediate agenda. An ex did this to me, only w/ "I feel like you want to get married" and broke it off with me because that freaked him out instead of talking to me about it. If he had talked to me honestly he would have found out it was certainly not on my agenda any time soon and he was creating the pressure in his own head.
Let her go my guy
Apt of people are gonna find out they don’t like themselves.
“2 weeks in.... 20 more to go.” Sing to the tune of 100 green bottles 🎵
Same bro, same
Jaja that's why people should live together before marrying
I’m confused. Why not just send her to her home? Because although she sounds kind of messy, she also sounds like she’s making herself comfortable and is probably stoked about spending more than just Friday nights with you. If you’ve had enough, tell her you need your space back to refocus. Then when she’s gone, see if her absence makes any difference.
I wonder what things about you annoy her....listen, perhaps you should communicate with her. These are things that will only annoy you more as time passes, trust. They don’t seem like deal breakers to me unless you try to talk to her about them and she dgaf
Supreme Court of Canada decisions. They include facta and memoranda docs as well
Ugh... thanks Obama
