After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Pretend everything is fine and trust me, do NOT slack off. You never know how things will be in 1.5 and you might suddenly need this job. When the time comes and you have an offer in hand, you’re good to go. Don’t let the anticipation hurt you in the present day.

Wow feel like common sense and social EQ are going down.
Although it is better for us senior folks since more and more people are so dumb to reveal their hand so easily. Like playing poker with a baby

Yes, title bump (if you get it) will always look better. Saying that will ensure you don’t get promoted
Yes. Plans change. A lot can happen in 1.5 years. If you’re on the promotion track, stay the course.

YESSSS. What is wrong with you lol.
Just very, very low key help with recruiting. Be busy many of the recruiting nights but go to 1-2 things. If it’s not enough, you’ll get your wish of not getting promoted but it won’t be completely obvious you didn’t try.

Yes, because even if you don’t care about getting promoted you probably still care about getting good projects and opportunities.
Yes. Just nod & smile & do you. No need to explain.

Yes. A promotion always looks good and will give you more leverage when you exit. Just curious, what’s your rationale here?
