Am I tripping or is this weird?

I’m quitting my job (been there 1 year) b/c I’m relocating b/c my spouse got a job in a different country.

Honestly there’s a lot of tension in this job and I’ve felt unsupported in it, and i’m happy to be leaving it. However, out of respect I told them I’m open to giving more than two weeks (up to a month).

The VP meets with everyone yesterday and breaks the news, and afterwards no one says anything to me? Not a congratulations or when to discuss next steps

So recently my SO has been accusing me of being in control of when we are intimate (sex and cuddling). She says that every time she wants to I say no - and whenever I want to - she says yes. So it's by default doing whatever I want when I want. It's a gross exaggeration of what's happening - but does anyone ever deal with something like this? How do you say no to something like that - without your partner thinking you're just looking out for yourself or you're controlling?

I am a woman who has been working as a tech PE investor for 8 months now, and have been feeling extremely discouraged by my experiences in this sector so far. I think it’s over with my SO of 3 years. He tells me he loves me and wants to work things through but has lied to me several times in the past - some which were the same mistake three times. He knows he needs professional help (he’s also on antidepressants and has PTSD) but I don’t know how I can trust him again. Feeling completely broken - cannot believe the situation we’re in. Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

What’s going on FB friends,

I am contemplating a move to industry working at a VC, Tax Director role east coast. Looks like it will be primarily overseeing compliance with some aspect of advising on structures etc. There is another tax reporting head above me.

The potential comp is the low 200k with a 10% bonus (still higher than what I am making). I feel this is pretty low for VC standards but maybe my standards are also too high. I have generally seen 25% bonus with carry.

Any thoughts?
