You always have a chance
Good to know. Just hoping leaning more so toward a chance at yes than no😂
I got 10% and have ringing in ears, vertigo and 20% hearing loss on both sides
During my C&P exam, the doctor said I had too much wax in my ears, but I still got it approved. The key thing to remember is that if you say it comes and goes they will very likely deny it but if it occurs all the time and you can pin point a time when you were in service when you noticed the ringing. They also asked what I did after the military, and she said I was exposed to loud noise while working in construction. Even with that, I still got it approved. My MOS was on the list of loud noise exposure, so that helped as well as my statement.

Got it so I think I should be good. I told them I started noticing it during my deployment and for me I get the ringing daily off and on throughout the day and every once and a while randomly get super dizzy
Good luck!
There is no test for tinitus. They do administer a hearing test which is testing for hearing loss not tinitus. There is a list of jobs that are considered high risk for tinitus such as Jet Engine Mechanic. Better chance if your job was on the list. I was approved for ten percent it took about three months. If you are declined, appeal it immediately, if your appeal is approved you should be paid all the way back

UPS 1, mine is constant and occasionally I lose the lower frequencies for a few minutes at a time (maybe blood pressure related...). It's just a part if life for me, I've had it since the early 2000s, shooting indoors and the occasional IED.
