Had a presentation that i feel like i poured my soul into. We brought an immense amount of work and i believe most of it is really good. Only one of the clients had something nice to say. Even still, to have one person acknowledge our hard work and creative ambition regardless of whether the work gets made, really made me feel good.

How often do you get a client to show some amount of humanity? It seems idiotic to not if you want a good relationship with the agency.

There are too many men out there who think that just because I'm being polite, it's a sign that they should flirt with me while I'm at work. I thought this was 2022, why haven't we as a society gotten past this yet?

I loathe Monday morning meetings. We have a monthly team meeting at 8:00am PT and it makes me so mad! 😂 It’s always on a Monday, and I have the hardest time getting motivated for them. Normally I wake up at 6:30am, check the news, stocks, shower, eat breakfast, get dressed and start answering emails at 8am.. no speaking meetings until 10am. However, on the team meeting Monday’s, I’m scrambling to do my morning routine and get setup to present/share my screen.. I hate them. We all hate them lol!

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale.
