Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
Should an employment lawyer consider getting a PHR/SPHR certificate? Is it worthwhile? A lot of in house opportunities seem to be looking for them
Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
I have worked in the HR space for the past 9 years, however most of my experience has been in Talent Acquisition. I do want to move into a People Operations/Generalist role. I’m planning to go for a HR certificate but unsure if I should go for a PHR or SHRM. Please advise!
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.

Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
Is the SPHR or PHR license necessary to pivot into human capital? I have a MBA from a Top 15 school. Any thoughts?
For those of you who spent the time and money to get the PHR or SHRM certifications, do you feel that it actually strengthened your professional capabilities as on HR professional, or did you just do it to fit into the “HR Professional” crowd?

How do people in your company view your digital / agency group (I.e. Deloitte digital, McKinsey digital, Accenture interactive)? I’d say at Accenture, interactive is highly respected and given a lot of attention. Many of our big acquisitions have been in this area as well as some of our coolest projects and credentials. Also as opposed to Accenture strategy where it might be someone’s 5th choice to go to, interactive tends to be people’s first choice given our mkt position
The idea that the vaccine will somehow be dangerous in the future is kind of ludicrous to me. Do those saying this really believe that something that could essentially wipe out 170M Americans, including the president, pretty much the entire medical industry, university students, and others would be this heavily recommended by lifelong experts? Do those saying this really think they’re smarter than everyone else?
Should I ask my recruiters how many interviews are they planning for the position? Seems like the hiring managers aren’t even sure what and who should interview because these are new positions.
