Newbie to Keto here 😊 How much portion controls do you do?
Find it cumbersome to track everything I eat and yet would like to make sure I have a calorie deficit.

Track for the first few weeks, until you get the hang of portion size. I found that after the first month, I didn’t really need to track or measure

Keto for almost a full year now — I haven’t counted a single thing. I don’t like the feeling of being on a “diet.” I loosely eyeball my carbs and protein and go by how I feel.

Still managed to lose about a pound per week, on average.

I also “eyeball” everything like EY1. Agree it helps to not feel like you’re dieting. I’m not even doing keto, just reducing carbs and overall food intake. I eat the same yogurt for breakfast every day, soup for lunch, salad for dinner. Cashews for snack sometimes. Was difficult for a week, but not after that. Lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks

Agree with the posts above. I've lost 25 pounds in two months without counting anything, and still going strong. I try to look at carbs if readily available; otherwise, I just try to avoid foods I know have carbs, knowing I'm picking up some carbs in the food I eat. It's not exact, but it's easy, and it's working for me. I've never lost weight this quickly this easily.

What do you all do to make non-professional / personal connections? Particularly with the Coronavirus, and being in domestic relations, I wake up, go to work, work out, go home. I gained weight during my last relationship (probably around 30 lbs, and I’m 5’9”). Before my relationship, I felt like I could get any guy. Interesting. Let’s see if the uptick In cases continues to drive an uptick in hospitalizations and then in fatalities. Depends on how many of the cases are incidental or in very young people not prone to severe cases. But either way, look at the hospital capacity utilization figures! This is the untold story. Were we bending the curve to avoid unnecessary deaths due to overcrowded hospitals, or were we bending the curve to buy time for treatments and vaccine, or just to slow fatalities?

Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?

I have limited problems limiting carbs. That said, it seems my protein is always inline with fats. The two

Feel like I’ve hit a plateau at 18 lbs total over 2 months. I keep it under 20g carbs per day. Have an indulgence maybe every 2 weeks (usually during a work event, gotta have a beer with the ‘bros’)
