Hit your protein! It’s essential: carbs are a limit, protein is a target, and the fat is there to satiate.
Go a bit over w/protein if you must.
Oh okay, i see. I always thought fat was the target and protein was meant to be moderate.
What do you mean hitting your fat intake? You should be minimizing carbs, maxing protein, and eating fat as needed. There's no required amount of fat on keto.
EY1 is spot on! I suggest reading the resources on /r/keto for all the ins and outs
Use a macro calculator (google it) to figure out what you need, it’s different for everyone. Should be 5% of cal intake is carbs, 20% protein, 70% fat. Also get Keto test strips so you know if you’re in ketosis. Can get on Amazon.
You shouldn't be following %s if you're doing keto, carbs should be less than 20g net and you need to hit your min protein...fat is just a filler. Also, test strips are a waste of money.
You must be way over your fat needs if protein is low, carbs are on point and calories are on point. Drop fat intake and up protein by switching to leaner proteins for 1 meal & 1 snack per day
