Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

Advertising has become a horrible business. It was actually a profession when I started. Now it’s a mess of fragmented social media that audiences just skip or close. Remember that lyric about video killing the radio star?
Personally, these sort of posts are great motivation for me to work on my industry exit plan. Because mood.
I really feel you. I feel kinda aged out as agency side and was lucky enough to move kind of a media company. it’s a grind but ad agency was worse. Think of your transferable skills. apply to jobs, freshen up connections and acquaintances, ask for recos. exiting advertising was made easier by me taking a pay cut. Also, money isn’t everything & when I had a little meltdown a few years ago I significantly reduced my expenses. Now it’s not so overwhelming to get my bills paid. Sometimes I look even at openings at places like a museum gift shop and think hell that looks tempting! There’s something to be said about not being so super stressed all the time. Hang in there! Here if you need me DM me if you’d like I’ve a ton of ideas.
I’m always on the edge of moving to the wilderness in some small home to go off grid and pick up freelance projects here and there.
Wish I had the perfect thing to say here.. I too will be overwhelmed with these thoughts one day. They seem to come more frequently as I age. Hope there will be someone or a group to help me through to other side…. All I can say is, you are not alone.
What do you actually want to do? What brings you the passion? When do you feel the most satisfied? What’s your “why”?

I don’t know. I have come to sad place where I am not interested in almost anything. I love my family and my kiddo. I love music as it was my main passion in life but I was never able to become a professional musician. I wish I had more answers than questions.
I’m not as many years into it as you but I already feel the same about wanting to get out of advertising. I’m so tired of sitting in front of a screen all day and do not find joy or fun in it. Maybe time for a total career change? I dunno. All this to say- I feel you!!!!
