What’s the longest time you’ve waited to hear back after conducting your final loop interviews for FAANG Companies??? I finished mine last Thursday & they told me I will get my decision between 9/6 - 9/9.
I feel like this wait is torture!!!!!! I’m also a CW so hoping I get this role so I get converted over to an FTE.

Except a lot of companies are not ballsy enough to actually do layoffs so they just mandate 5 day RTO til everyone quits
Agree!
Indeed
Sure, I'd agree with that. It's always good to remember that we are all replaceable. And when you get down to it, each one of us is a cell on someone's spreadsheet. And if an analyst on Wall Street gets an idea that a company needs to cut costs, our cell on the spreadsheet has gotta go.
Well said! They can replace us in 48 hours with the right candidate! Don’t sacrifice your outside of work hours to be a slave to corporate
It's absolutely crazy how quickly things can change in someone's life because of some multimillion corporation. Loads of people were in that situation this year...
And it’s still ongoing.

Yep, never get too attached to a company
I learned from being laid off that loyalty is for personal life. Business is business. I’m here for a paycheck sorry not sorry
Exactly! The business will move on tomorrow without thinking twice
I agree with this 100%. At the end of this life we aren't going to be thinking about what jobs we did or what companies we worked for, we will think about all the things we missed out an and opportunties we didn't take advantage of. I don't want to be one of those people who really misses out on life.

That’s corporate America… my Team is my family. If you are the right fit (and we are picky) and you make it past the first year or two, no one leaves and I don’t fire them… 20 years in business. Only in Florida now… expanding to other states soon… Florida Pipette Calibrations.
This is true! You really have to be the right fit. You can’t be worried about people that may not want to stick around and it’s easy to tell over time
Well said! I believe this rings true for most people
I was lazy and left all my eggs in one basket - my brilliant employer for the last 10 years - and the environment went toxic with folks being pushed out.... left me suddenly realising I had not prepared for this - so just seeing a background research of "what next" is best advise
