SalesForce folks, a recruiter reached out for an opportunity to interview for a AE position in my specialty. I noticed there is also an opp available locally for a Strategic Account Manager in my vertical as well. Any one know of pay difference between the two, responsibilities/expectations, how they are viewed in the org itself? I understand they are different but in my job today, I handle both roles so can go in either direction. Appreciate any input.

It’s a company not like any other. A place where everyone can work in harmony. We share ideas, bring forward thinking innovation to the forefront of technology. It’s a flat organization with no politics. We represent the under represented. We leverage cartoon characters to identify better with each other through differences. We humanize technology through a single platform, base with all integrated companies completely integrated both in culture & code. Our V2MOMs are our field map. We are encouraged to take time to spend with our families, and focus on customer first advocacy over Wall Street performance. Our 111 model is a shining light that is the North Star ⭐️ of the entire global technology community. We are #OneOhana.

Also interested in this. Is there a difference between base/commission for an AM vs an AE (and viewed as trusted partners/consultants), or are they effectively sales on a similar structure to AEs?

Usually 50/50 on comp. the variable wildly is variable so be prepared for feasts at times and cold winters with no money for heat. Get your side hustle ready

Currently working in IT audit and exit ops are tough to find outside of audit (applying /interviewing for 6 months now…). At this point I’m considering a masters program in either cybersecurity or data science in order to make the jump to a new career path. Does anyone have experience taking this route? Would love to obtain some perspective or advice from someone who experienced a similar situation. Also, my degree is in accounting, but most professional experience is in cyber-focused audits.

Hi 🐠: need some perspective. Currently approaching the end of my notice period at the current firm having accepted a role. However been getting much better opportunities to interview at other firms now. Have 2 months before I join the new firm. (1) What are the implications of interviewing after leaving the current firm from a referencing standpoint point? (2) Do I make it clear in the interviews that I’ve already resigned from the current firm? Thoughts welcome. TIA 🙏

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
