Do whatever you need to vent, everyone needs something. Just make sure it's a healthy outlet. Sometimes a few tears is needed release. But after youre done and you go to bed, you go to bed thinking that you'll conquer the next day no matter what. You have to be your own cheerleader sometimes. You can do it! 💃
If crying helps you, go for it. Let it all out. I smoke and go for long walks to clean my mind. Regardless of you do, all i can say is “it’s going to be ok. Take a deep breath and move forward"
I second long walks!! If you’re in nyc, get outside around some nature, even if it’s just like, Washington Square Park!

Take a mental day and look for other jobs even if you dont apply
PTO is planned for next week, which is good. Interesting idea, though, about looking for other roles. Not interested in leaving my job now, but a little good ol flirting with other options might be therapeutic.
Practice gratitude. Give to charity. Give a compliment. Write down all the things you’re grateful for. Sounds corny but it works
My biggest suggestion would be to spend 15-20 minutes in a sauna of 170 degrees or hotter. You will flush your mental and physical toxins out and feel absolutely refreshed. It also helps make the night feel longer and you sleep better so there’s no harm!

Meditation helps me soo much. Even just 10 minutes can make a HUGE difference. Once i finish i feel that i have rested and i can face the world again.

I’m in the same boat, OP. What helped me today at work was swearing a whole lot to release it all, and then trying to laugh about it all with my two ride or die friends from work. Wine and a vape pen seemed to help once I got home.
Aw, I’m sorry VP1. My ride or dies are out of town right now, otherwise I’d totally be laughcrying with long islands.
It may sound strange but try to laugh it off and remember it doesn’t actually matter. You’re worth more than your worries and stress will have you believe Meditation helps me a lot.
