Resigned last week from a job with a horrible manager. In the process learned that the other team member is toxic and poisoning my reputation in front of others behind my back. I am so relieved!

Last week team dynamics took a turn for the worst (even tho in each retro the team always commend each other, you would think team work is great). Team members get agitated with each other for being slow. Team members coming across rude and brash (the same ones are difficult to get hold to offer support, time is money is what someone said💰, the craziest was the client accidently sharing her whatsapp screen, commenting on people's feedback to what she was presenting OMG 😲 How was your week?

When is it okay to lie to the client?

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.

How do you deal with tech-illiterate colleagues? A partner and a couple associates at my firm are so out-of-touch with tech and they're always asking me for help. I want to be helpful, but I also have actual work to get done.

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. I think I may have made a huge mistake today. My skip level director sent out an email about something and asked us for feedback. I sent back a note and provided some. One of the things I said was that our job satisfaction might be improved if we could do more of X kind of work instead of Y kind of work that we do so much of in our group.
