To help gear up for year end reviews, list your practice type, firms size, practice location, experience, billable requirement, and salary. This should help give everyone a ball park for year end negotiation. I’ll go first: commercial litigation, small firm about 10 attorneys, Ohio, 3 YOE, 1,700 annual requirement, $100k salary.

Corporate, 4 years, NYC, $170k all in including bonuses, 150 lawyers, 2100 hours requirement but even with that you’d probably be in trouble (yes I know I’m underpaid).

I am an senior associate at a small (8-10 attorneys) immigration firm in NYC. My base is 110k and I get 30% for the cases and clients I bring in. My revenue was 370k last year and I did 250k till April this year.

My issue is, I have so much firm's work that I have hard time to work on my cases/clients. It feels like my cases are supposed to be done after hours (like after 6 pm). My work hours are crazy. I feel this is unfair and since my firm's taking 70% of my sales. Should I ask for a raise?

Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I recently joined Barclays and I have one doubt regarding bonus part in my salary which is not officially mentioned anywhere in my offer.

Can anyone please tell how we get annual bonus in % on Below Salary components.
Is it on BASIC SALARY or ANNUAL SALARY or TOTAL FIXED PAY.

I've been a government attorney for nearly three years now and have worked in the same office/division since I passed the bar. I've yet to receive a promotion other than two cost of living increases (in sum, a pay increase of 6k over 3 years). I know this is meager, but I'm mostly ok with it, I just want to see some recognition. On the other hand, it's hard for me to imagine negotiating because (given my inexperience), I don't feel I'd be able to do better anywhere else. Any advice?
