Too many people got hired by their friends without any experience and “worked” remotely so skills never developed. Look at the linked in profiles of most people getting laid off…mostly all of them have worked for other big tech companies for 6 months to a year…usually around the time you boss can figure out if you can do the job or not. But let’s keep recycling these same people because they “worked” at meta for 6 months…many people are out here sitting at home watching Netflix not working lol

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. Most likely getting fired, tips on how to find a job ASAP? I made a pretty big mistake that required supplemental filings with government offices to fix (missed some items when reviewing/comparing long lists of things across 20-30 years).
