My annual perf discussion is monday morning. I work on a tough team for a tough place. How to move things along with forgetful partners? I am a new 1st year and I am staffed with a partner who is swamped. They are great but otherwise very busy and occasionally forgetful (meetings with other partners or associates, assignments to review, responding to others). I have 7 years of military supply chain experience, plus a year and a half outside of the military. I am an inventory control manager currently, and have applied to positions like demand planner, supply chain manager, supply planner, and other manager positions. Any advice on how to correct my job search?

We've been using Excel to keep track of our inventory but it's becoming more difficult as we grow. Are there any tools out there that can help me automate this process?
