I think 250-300k, closer to 300 if a national midsize
Big 4 & top 10 all start around 350k (general tax). That’s far from net take home because they all contain good amounts of deferred comp.
Main difference is in retirement. Deferred comp is MUCH higher in big 4 than in top 10 (2-3x more). Conversely, current cash comp in top 10 is generally better than big 4.
I’ve heard it’s closer to 300, but may also depend on group and location.
You also pay 100% of health insurance as a partner. And you have to take a firm loan to buy-in as equity.
Probably depends somewhat on location also but would guess 200-250
Is big four new partner earning more than this? I heard pwc new partner get around 450-500
PwC new partner is about $400-450k. Had a new partner tell me that too and I am in a lcol-mcol market
200-250K. But it’s all SE, no perks, you fund all your net benefits. So net is 💩
Jeez, you'd probably be better of as an M1 some places after all that jazz.

It really depends. 200k range is a good average. We had someone go to a local for $600k and another guy left for $195k.
I think $200k is a bit low. I would say average new partner at a mid-size should be closer to $250k
Very location dependent. Nonequity partners at my US regional firm start around $125K, (most of our offices are LCOL areas). Equity partners start around $200k range.
We're accountants. We know there's no such thing as a non-equity partner, and it's just a nonsense way to make someone feel special and push off paying them what a partner should make :).
