I’m at the high end pay as an ACD. How much do I ask for a bump to CD? The usual salary websites show CD salaries starting lower than mine, and I don’t want all the extra work for a small pay bump. Do I ask for a $15k bump? Bigger?

I got a 2nd job offer after formally accepting another (both start in 2.5 weeks).
Job Offer 2 salary is a few grand more than Offer 1(already acceted) AND pays 100% of health/dental/vision premiums, which will save me another few thousand a year.
Both jobs are in a city notorious for it's high cost-of-living (my partners job is moving us from the midwest to SF this summer), so several thousand dollars difference *WILL* be noticeable.

I got contacted by a recruiter about a role at an agency. It’s a lateral title move (maybe a salary bump) and I’m not unhappy at my job, but I generally have a rule of taking every call.

I’m 4 interviews in - at the assignment / offer stage and I’m increasingly uneasy. Culture feels a little toxic, the work isn’t super exciting, lots of turnover etc.

I got a verbal offer from a WPP agency today. The role's budgeted salary is 5k less than my desired salary.

Word of caution: I spent five years in my 20s working at my first job at a full-service digital marketing agency. I saw a lot of coworkers move out of the agency every 1 to 3 years which is typical. I decided to go contrarian and stay five years because I figured maybe they’re wrong and just trying to get that quick salary increase without thinking long-term. I think that was a bad move since I stopped growing and my salary is still modest. Fortunately, I have now accepted another offer. 

We keep hearing “It’s attrition season, the market is competitive, and it’s happening everywhere.” It’s not untrue, but it also isn’t the whole story. Besides the obvious (salary/title), what has kept you at your agency? What else could leadership or managers be doing to keep talent? If you left recently, why?
