I have an interview for an IB Associate position at Goldman Sachs. Should I expect a technical portion in the interview?

I have an upcoming interview for Strategy& Deals associate position. Any advice? Level of difficulty? Of course I’ll use the Google machine for additional research.

I'm about to graduate from my MSc Economics course in three months and the placements this year are bad.
I'm looking forward to apply directly for the roles of analyst and associate consultants. When should I start applying when I am graduating in last week of May? And any company recommendations to start my career?

Vc carry? Have an interview at a relatively new/small vc (few hundred million aum). They’re offering what sounds like a small base, no bonus, but carried interest (associate position, 3 yoe). Per my understanding this could be either great or awful. What are some questions I should ask to evaluate? Eg around hurdle rate, floor, etc? How long would I have to work there to realize the carry normally?

What should I expect for a VP PE interview? It would be a lateral move, currently a VP at another firm. I obviously understand how to navigate the Associate interview but not sure what to expect in a lateral and there’s not much chatter online about it.

Interviewing with a boutique consulting firm for senior associate tech consulting role in Texas. 5 years of total experience: 3 yoe in technical roles, 2 yoe in big 4 consulting. Boutique firm says their pay is competitive if not higher than big 4. What base salary should I expect and ask for?

I did not realize how underpaid I was at my current firm/ position until I started applying for my same position elsewhere and saw the base starting salary at some companies/ other firms is around 10,000 more than where I’m at salary wise in my current firm (62k, HCOL, Senior Associate 1)

Does anyone know the salary range for that role?

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.

Can anyone share some insights about BTSA comp and negotiation? The principal did mention that I did well in the interview when they called me. My profile: BS in CS, MS in Business Analytics, Location: Princeton. Comp: Base: 85k, Sign on: 7k Relocation: 4k. Please help.

I’ve been trying hard to break into the business of food now and have been to a final round with DoorDash and gotten interviews with blue apron and Uber eats. This is my passion and where I want to work long term. I am on the associate board of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine focused on eliminating food waste. Can anyone help me reach this goal?

Is it uncommon to negotiate titles? Been interviewing for this job and really want it, but it’s an "associate" level position which also seems weird considering they’re asking for 3 years experience. I’ve currently been an associate for 2 years now and think it’s time to move on from the title. Salary is right, just the title is holding me back. Thoughts?
