To leave PwC before senior...I am 2 years in and not in a great group. I'd be happy interviewing at Deloitte/EY in better group. Could I come in as a senior even?

I'm a senior Applying for new jobs and realizing I have no actual skills. Does everyone else feel this way or do you actually do more than BS your career?

Interviewing for Senior Analyst Corp Strategy role. I'm going into my second year of consulting. Worth it if they offer me +30-40% salary increase?

How much do senior cons in E&Y and Accenture making? Have interviewed with both - wanted to know how much should I expect.

Anyone (or know anyone) with experience at GMMB in the creative department (as opposed to PR, etc.)? I’m interviewing there and have read some troubling reviews on Glassdoor, especially around workload and burnout for non-senior staff. Given its size, I want to investigate whether that is company-wide or in certain departments.

For context, I’d be mid-level working with the west coast teams, so focus would be on causes and initiatives rather than politics.

Hello…looking for opinions on my situation. I applied for a senior sales position in a completely different industry (stretch target, but worth a try.) The job responsibilities are what I do today so I’m qualified on paper, but their industry experience is “preferred”. I’ve been invited to interview which is great but I’m going straight into a 4-person panel Zoom interview, which includes a couple of senior management people. No BS HR screening call. What’s are your thoughts on this?

I have a second round interview coming up for EY (Technology Risk Senior Consultant), any tips/advice? Or if anyone is currently working at EY under that team (McLean/DC office) what’s your experience been with culture/salary/workload/etc? Thanks!!

Salary recommendation: I have an interview next week for a mixed senior copywriter and senior PR consultant job at a very large, in-house organization. If you had 7-9 years of experience and were based in central US, what would you ask for? I’m thinking $125,000 based on where I am now, but I want to make sure I’m not undercutting myself.

Hi folks. I'm a Senior Account Manager at Microsoft, 10 YOE working with board level stakeholders to onboard workloads. AWS approached me for a Customer Solutions Manager role which is exactly what I do for Microsoft. The hiring manager sent a team member who turned my interview into a technical deep dive. I'm not a Cloud Solutions Architect! Question... Is it normal for AWS to send the tech police to non tech interviews? The guy might as well been a robot.

I might have an interview with BCG London for a Senior Associate position soon. Just got a referral and submitted my cover letter. Any tips to prepare for the interview (kind of cases, what fit questions I can expect, number of rounds and turnaround time etc.) would be really helpful.
A bit of my background: worked in KPMG for 2 years, did a MiM at LBS, now at a procurement specialist in London. I have practiced cases during college, but away for a year.

I had an interview with 2 senior managers last week for an industry position and it went super well. All behavioral questions. I have an in person interview this week with a director of the group and will be shown around the office. Would you expect this one to be harder or more like trying to figure out if you are a good fit for their group like the previous one? Don’t have any background on what the interview will be like and I really want the job! Any advice would be great.

Recently I have switched by clearing the interview based on spring hibernate but in my previous org I didn't get chance to work on these technologies it was very old project.
Now in my new org do I need to admit it like I don't have real time experience in spring as I am getting calls from various projects and they are asking me on which technology I had worked.

Imposter Syndrome:
I was hired even though I felt unqualified. I now realized the people that hired me thought I was senior at my previous job when I wasn’t... I never lied about anything during my interview and talked about my duties. I only realized this after I got hired and the team introduced me saying all these fabulous “senior” things that I did - which is true (more like acting senior duties) 😅 what do i do!! Do I tell them I wasn’t a senior? I’m not behind on my work or anything

Looking for advice: A manager referred me to a senior knowledge analyst role at BCG and a recruiter reached out to schedule a first round interview but after rescheduling twice has ghosted me since November:( I was really interested in the opportunity and I’m somewhat bummed that she won’t respond back to any emails (2). The referring manger said she’d look into it but is going on mat leave and has been busy. Not sure what to do next without being annoying?

Hi all! I just got a Senior tax associate role in industry ($85k, MCOL; 17% more than I currently make). Enjoyed the people I interviewed with; my only hesitation is that the company itself has had a rough couple of years (healthcare company, had a few bad acquisitions that they’ve since shed off). Their busy season is just January and early February, with their team working until about 7 PM during the week and a few Saturdays. I’m interested, but it’s also my 1st offer; what would you do?

Going rate for senior tech consultants who specialize in Microsoft Cloud - specifically M365 services?

I'm close to accepting a role as Sr. PM / Engagement Manager for a large SI's Msft Practice in the upper $100K range. But just got a call from a recruiter at a Msft Gold Partner who, when I said I'd be looking for $200K+ literally answered "that wouldn't be a problem, we are desperate to fill this position". Should I accept 1st role and interview for 2nd? (start date is weeks out)

What are tax senior interviews like at each big 4 recently? For my Deloitte interview, it was completely conversational and no technical/behavioral questions. All I had to do was tell them what I did at my last job. Didn’t have to mention firm principles or values, etc.

Is Analyst 2 equivalent to Senior Associate at American Express? I am interested in applying for the Financial Systems Analyst role. Thanks!

Anyone have experience in EY’s Enterprise Risk Transformation group? Have received an interview as a senior consulta and want to know what to expect and what salary range I should shoot for (in a mid COL city). Also would love to know about the type of projects and work life balance.

I am interviewing for a senior Development position(not in IT) in Dresden, Germany. With 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry domain, what can be an expected salary range for such a position?
P.S: Masters degree + 5 years work experience in Germany in similar domain + good German knowledge skills.

Has anyone ever taken EY’s FDD case study (non-senior level)? I am coming from a polar opposite department than advisory and, from what I have heard about FDD, the case studies are excel/financial statement prep/finance related.

Is there a significant difference between the work done as a (Deloitte) Senior analyst Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance vs AML senior consultant? They sound closely related. Considering applying.
