Folks applying for Data and Analytics roles in the industry at M, SM, D Levels, what technical/functional topics do you prepare for on the Analytics side?

I was a high performer at Deloitte and was promoted early. Until recently, I have no desire and motivation to stay on my current project anymore due to demanding SM, crazy hours and nasty attitude from people. Waiting on final interview feedback from some dream companies but in case it falls through, is it wise to jump to some "local no name companies" to just get a better life?

I had a final interview with a partner and the recruiter wants to do a debriefing call. Im assuming it can be just feedback or another interview is needed? I don’t see it being a rejection via phone. It’s for a senior manager role at EY

I applied for a manager's position at PWC but looks like my title change to a senior manager and that's what my next round of interview is showing.. is that normal? Like they bump if they think you are qualified for a better position? Thanks

Final round at Salesforce (Senior Manager, strategy role). It's with the team leader and hiring manager. Already completed my 4-round behavioral with team and case presentation.

1. What can I expect they will ask in this stage? Behaviorals? Technical?
2. What are some good questions to ask them? Should I look at the 10K and ask about initiatives and how they impact overall firms growth? Acuisitions? Team functionality? All ideas appreciated here.
3. Any other tips for Salesforce interview prep?

How do you manage your job search and project work.

Whenever I have an interview scheduled my manager or SM or Partner would schedule something last minute. And then I have to reply back to the recruiter saying I won't be able to make it and please reschedule.

Happens so many times 😭

Got feedback when I was talking to a recruiter internally for my company (UHG) -- I do internal strategy consulting and they refer to me as a senior manager but my title in the system is senior project manager...

Applying for a new role within the company and switching job families. Said that the title is a hang up for them although they really like my background and work.

Tips for SM interview on Monday please

Hello I'm currently a Consultant in my second year at Accenture. Prior to that I had 10 years in industry. I had an initial conversation with TCS regarding an Industry Advisor position. Second interview scheduled for this week. I currently have a comp of 120, told them I'd be looking at 160 which was not an issue..

With that said can anybody shed some insight on what the move to TCS would be as Industry Advisor from the consultant with Accenture? Is that a level between M and SM at Accenture?

Interviewed for a biotech company Director role, told me I did great but chose someone internal for the role. They offered to open an SM role just for me instead (5YOE, MPH) with the hopes of becoming director after working at the company. Should I take it? Do I have room to negotiate anything?

Hey y’all! Advice. I had an interview with a consulting company and my first round was with an MD. My second round was supposed to be with a senior manager this week but they backed out. Now I am interviewing with a consultant next week. I’m worried that I’m probably being marked as “low priority candidate.” Am I over reacting?

I am deep into the interview process for a controller job. It is for a small PE owned manufacturing company. I will be responsible for helping through multiple acquisitions, ERP system implementation, revamp of internal control structure, etc. I am a first year senior manager and have helped clients through all of the above but it’s a bit daunting thinking about being on other side and creating everything myself from scratch. Anyone else experience this anxiety when making jump to industry?

He asked what contacts I maintained at the agency (seemed like a fishing expedition) and I answered “the people I know are the people you know (without getting into specifics.l Is this question common and does it violate any NDAs?

Facing an interesting dilemma about compensation vs title and looking for advice. I am currently a Senior Manager in the industry (work in Financial Systems). I recently got an offer for a Senior Business Analyst role (total compensation of $250K) in the same city - my current comp is $170K. The role is a major step down in title and responsibilities but gives me almost 50% increase in TC. The only reason interviewed at all is the TC.
