My interview has consulting attributes (case interview). Any inputs specifically related to case interview are appreciated. What type of cases should I be expect if my job is to work in Salesforce domain later? Any website for case preparation?

Has anyone recently (and I mean very recently, last 2 weeks haha) gone through EY's new hiring process that involves playing games/answering questions by recording yourself, on the hirevue platform? SC that have became manager. How have your responsibilities shifted? I am interviewing with companies for a manager role and they kept trying to bring me in a level lower. I have managed internal teams, led RFPs, limited external team exp (due to nature of projects) but frequent interaction with clients. How do I show that I am manager material

Any advice on how to succeed when being pulled into a very messy project? So far it has had very high turnover, is understaffed, and I’ve even been told by some that they would quit if they had to work on my work stream. I’m a SC but seems like I’ll somewhat be operating at a manager level role while also being expected to do the more detailed analyst level work (which is a lot). Not feeling great about inheriting a messy project that is super far behind, & I’m also pretty new to the firm

Just got offered a role at MorganFranklin consulting as a manager in Strategy. Then I got offered a role in as a senior consultant at Deloitte in Strategy. MFC is offering 128k and Deloitte is offering 155k. Which one would you take?

I got hit up to interview for an SC role at Accenture for Cyber. Currently a second year consultant at D for cyber. I like my team/coach/leadership a lot and I wasn’t planning to exit anytime soon, although, I’m also not anticipating making SC this year. To all my Canadian 🐠 in Consulting, I need your help please :) I am a management consulting analyst at Accenture, it’s been 1.5 years and I have an interview at KPMG coming up. When I spoke to the recruiter, she said she would consider me for a Consultant role (which is the same level as my current level at Accenture, at KPMG they start at consultant, at Accenture we start as analyst). I received 2 offers: one from Guidehouse as a SC and one from ClearView as SA.

My end goal is to work in commercial, BD or operations within a big pharma/biotech company.

Which offer should I take? I heard the WLB at ClearView is pretty miserable but it seems like the exit opportunities are better. I want to understand if there is a significant difference between the 2 firms.

Manager 🐠 . I am interviewing for manager role with a b4 and really want to ace it. My current firm barely does any promotions and I will be stuck at SC for a long time. When you interview a future manager, what traits do you look for?

Juggling two offers (EY vs. IBM) for a senior consultant position in Incident Response.

Pay is basically equal and both teams seem great. Could anyone give me some insight into either of the two to make a better decision?

Senior Consultant here. I agreed to an extension on my current project on a role that has not yet been confirmed (still working out contract details but will likely be finalized soon). However, a new role on a different project is now available and I would much prefer to be in this new role. Can I back out of my current project and join this new role? Is this wrong / poor taste on my part?

Is it a lateral move from Deloitte Consultant to PWC Senior Associate?

For context, I was up for promo last year but it was rescinded due to covid. SC promotion is “all but guaranteed” this cycle 🙄. I know PWC has an extra level with the new SM role so not sure if I’d be lateraling to SA3 from C at D? It’s a 40% base comp increase but just curious what the outside perception is... currently 3YOE, top right scatterplot. I’m thinking I could make M in a year or so but is that like SC at D??

Recently switched firms. Didn’t receive a true step down in title but it may “look” like it due to different role names at the different firms. (A to C vs C to SC). Is there a way to demonstrate this on LinkedIn or does it not matter?

Project leadership is forcing me to stay staffed on a project that I’ve expressed interest in leaving after being on it for nearly 1.5 years. I feel so trapped that I’m interviewing externally because I’m so bored and they won’t give me a chance to find something new. Project leadership has a history of not letting Cs leave. Has anyone else been in this position and quit entirely because of it? I’m even up for promotion this year to SC but don’t think it’s worth sticking around 😔

115k for a SC role at West Monroe feasible?

Currently an Advisory Consultant at Deloitte for 1.6 years post college graduation making 75k. Got an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for Analytics role as a SC for 96.5k.

Advice for growth and or if the offer is worth taking? I get the salary increase is nice, but the network jump going from Big4 to non.
