I received an offer to join EY-Parthenon and am very excited! It’s for a Senior Associate role, anyone know what the potential signing bonus and annual performance bonus % is? Have an opportunity to move as a senior associate to an L4 equivalent security engineer at a 800ish person GCP exclusive reseller, but hesitant about the business model being so closely tied to essentially a separate entity. Received a verbal offer - can you negotiate the title?

The company hired someone who was a Senior Associate at my firm as a Consultant last year - I am a Consultant so would expect to come in as at least a Consultant. Typically it looks like one needs 3 YOE for the Consultant and I have ~2 years 9 months so close.

At the same time, the compensation is still a raise, the company is more prestigious, and the role is in the city I want so want to take it but don’t want to shortchange myself.

6th year attorney here. Will be seeking a raise. We are a small firm with steady billable litigation work. An associate just left, who we won’t be replacing, freeing up their entire amount of salary plus insurance costs etc. I’m currently just below $100k/year plus a $10k Christmas bonus. I am the senior associate. All cases go through me before going to the partner. We have good work/life balance. Anyone care to help by sharing their compensation? What is average for my situation?

I’m a senior associate at an Amlaw100 firm in a specialty group. The vast majority of what we do is compliance, with a deal sprinkled in once in a while. Thinking of lateraling to an Amlaw 30 firm because the comp gap is enormous. I’m solidly on partner track at my firm - next 2 years or so - but the pay at the other firm is higher than the junior partner at my firm. New role would involve significantly more deal work. Senior associates- I have a lateral offer at Cravath scale firm for a special counsel role- 1200 billable, off partnership track, but paid base salary (no bonuses unless hours are significantly higher than expected). Would I be crazy to consider taking this instead of staying in my current role (senior associate, partnership track but have no guarantees at this point, billing 2000/yr with cravath-scale bonuses)? Is it career suicide?

How do you about the compensation drop? Currently make 95k and role im interested in is offering 80k. I’m a great fit and they really like me but the industry doesn’t have margins like consulting. Can I push to come in as a ‘senior associate’ instead of just an associate and see what they can do

KPMG senior associate salary?

A2 with an offer for Senior Associate FDD at another Big 4. Should I jump? Heard FDD is just glorified audit. I do not enjoy audit, but I hear FDD pays significantly more. Was thinking about making the switch just for comp. Have been looking into FP&A opportunities but this came about first.

Just found out my raise for the year and it’s an increase of 5.6%. It is the raise I would’ve received last year, but then that was halted due to covid and no one got raises. I’m the most senior associate and have been told I’m on partner track, but I think the raise should’ve been higher and am pissed, but I’m also grateful to still have a job with covid. What raises have you gotten and how has covid impacted your compensation? I’m in a mid size insurance defense firm in the PNW.
