Question - if an employee damages other employees car at company property, can you fire them.
I am in the process of finishing up my MBA but considering also getting my SPHR or PHR cert. Is it even worth it or a waste of time and money?
Would you drive a car that costs $135,000? If so, would it mainly be to show your success to your clients?
Sometimes clients annoy me. Then I realize I really don’t care what you do as long as you pay me and that is the legal profession for you
What’s your number one prospecting tip for BDRs?
I get the rule of “bill everything”. But I worry that I don’t capture enough time. I use a timer program that is helpful and I know I’m working but can’t figure out what to input in the billing to reflect. What are some things you bill for that maybe some people tend forget to include? (Billable and nonbillable)
I am new to workday! :) I am sort of making it my personal mission to learn it so we can use it. Most of the people around me are not super knowledgeable. What is the best way to learn it for HR? Is that a silly question? I am currently just watching a lot of youtube. Tools and tips appreciated.
Still have some student loan left but thinking about going in-house for non-monetary reasons (passion, long term fit, expertise, etc). Any of you regretted going in-house in similar situations?

Our HR/recruiting department is working on what we're calling an "Attract" score. Essentially, we're wanting to find a way to measure success when it comes to time-to-fill, attrition (or lack thereof), candidate experience, etc. Is anyone using a particular "formula" to calculate this success overall, or are you just tracking it all individually?
Didn't even last a week in insurance defense before putting in my two weeks and making the move to a plaintiffs firm.
Advice on taking the SHRM-SCP exam? I’m taking the exam tomorrow and not feeling as prepared as I should. Who has taken the SCP exam? How difficult did you find it?
Nothing worse than partners or SAs who communicate in a condescending tone or never say thank you for anything. It’s demotivating. Why are some people like this?
I'm an experienced HRBP who's looking for some career advancement advice. I'm currently studying for my SPHR and looking to take the leap to HR Director roles. While I'm a strong HRBP, I've yet to manage a team. And while I train managers on people leadership skills, I myself, haven't had a chance to flex those muscles. Those in HR leadership, should I apply for HR Director roles even though I haven't managed a team?
Has anyone transitioned from direct sales to indirect (channel, solutions consulting, etc.)? I’m an Enterprise AM currently (6+ years of total closing experience in SaaS) but looking to make a change sometime in the next 18-24 months. Certainly expecting to sacrifice financial upside but growing tired of the grind.
Hi! Are any of you SDRs at HashiCorp, Inc. (Austin location)? Do you like working there? How's the starting pay? Opportunities to grow?
My first position I got handed a fairly endless research project: research and memo three areas of law (that are not the firms MO) in preparation for a new case. No specific questions, just research. Now I am 20 hours into a law review article on the topic. How would you narrow issues/wrap up so you know you have everything but also get this thing off your desk for efficiency’s sake? I’m a chronic overresearcher and I’m painfully aware of my penchant to take this into the weeds.

You receive an email with a document from opposing counsel and say “thanks, we’ll review”. Took 30 seconds total. But you never end up looking at that document or doing any work on that matter the rest of the day. Do you bill a .1 for that email exchange?
