They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league. Latinx - help! We used this term in our diversity spotlight discussing Hispanic Heritage Month. One individual said that in English a group of Latinos would just be Latins to be gender neutral. Definitely took the wrong job. I was offered a seriously competitive salary and great benefits to work at a well funded startup, which is great! We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? My company has ERGs and one of them is pretty large and includes a lot of demographics. Within it, people are starting to kind of form their own subgroups (like based on office location or country-specific ethnicity). Does anyone have any thoughts around what would be appropriate for DEI practitioners to be aware of when serving these populations?
