Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Coach
Consult with an employment lawyer who only represents plaintiffs, as soon as possible.
They can review your situation to see what kinds of legal claims you have. Based on the strength of your case/position, they can advise on what to say in the meeting and during severance negotiations.
They should also review any agreements. Employers will present terms favorable to them, not you. Also, your jurisdiction may have unique laws that protect you. New laws also may have been passed. A top-notch lawyer should make sure all your rights are preserved.
Best of luck to you.
