Agree with @PWC1. I would just ask but I saw a massive shift to more casual over the past two years (or semi professional perhaps)
It depends on the client. If it’s anything like the US it varies greatly from industry to industry and between companies. Stereotypically, banking and pharma tends to dress more conservatively (no jeans as an example) and retail and tech more casual, but the pandemic really changed cultures a lot I think. Also matters the country. I think DACH countries are more conservative. I’m a EU newbie from the US and I’ve seen a ton of differences over the last year.
Actually really helpful! Thank you for your insight :)
I used to work in implementation for a f500 Pharma firm and everyone was wearing jeans and T-shirt. 😅
Dark formal suit (or blazer, gray, navy blue are ok for everyday), no jeans, wearing a v-neck or a mesh tank top under your shirt is advised (v-neck t-shirt with short sleeves are better).
White or light blue shirt, no big stripes, no fantasy, French or English collar.
Musketeer handcuffs (no fantasy for handcuffs, no gold as well).
Business pant (dark blue, gray, nothing extravagant again).
No visible signa of wealth (watch especially).
Dark unicolor socks.
Business shoes.
Belt assorted to your shoes’ color.
Necktie (unicolor, nothing extravagant if you are to wear one).
