1. Tangible results - you own the sales and therefore get the benefit of celebrating your wins. Customer - negotiating and working together with customers to build trusting and unique relationship. Money - commission based structure is great for making lots of $$$$ if the company has realistic sales targets and you have a good team.
2. Internal alignment, escalations, you’re always in call and never really able to take time off

Would you recommend it being internal to my company or external?
1. Bringing real transformation for a customer. And…internally based, competitive nature. Sleeping while others are grinding doesn’t work for me.
2. Admin based and tasks that fee clerical. Feels like it’s a waste of time and something others could do who weren’t trying to close deals
1. Helping my prospects accomplish their personal goals through the selection/purchase/deployment of my product. When they get their annual bonuses or get promoted because our project went well, it's a perfect day.
2. Having to listen to "paint by numbers" sales management tell me how to do my job. Thank God for Brian Burns (find him on LinkedIn) in that regard, as he always speaks the truth.
