If so, can you tell me how did you progress in your career being in the lead generation/sourcing (initial stages of M&A) to may be being a full stack M&A analyst or BD executive/manager?

Also, if you are in the M&A field in the similar position,
Can you share an approximate salary that you are drawing. Any insights would be helpful.

I am in a dilemma choosing between Wolters Kluwer and S&P Global(IHS). Any suggestions? Salary and role are the same.

Does anyone know if this is normal? I joined a vault 100 firm in September last year. The firm put me on tier 7. In January I had the associate review and everything was normal. After a couple of weeks, I got the call from the hiring partner telling my bonus and new salary (because of the firm-wide salary increase). I realized I still get paid as a 7 year associate. The partner said because I joined the firm later in the year, it’s normal not to advance in the next year. Is it? Thanks!

1) After document submission , How much time do they take to release offer letter for freshers ? Its been month for me not received till now

Anyone lateraled at the 2-4 year mark from boutique (40ish lawyers, corporate lit work on same level as biglaw, making top NY pay) to v100? Can you say anything about the experience? The reason I’m considering is while boutique is generally a good place for me as an associate (NY pay, reasonable WLB, good experience on many fronts) there’s basically zero shot at making partner.

First time BDR here 3 months into my role and really struggling to book qualified meetings. The BDR that had my territory last was one of the worst performing on the team and since he inherited a new territory he’s been a top performer.
