Also I eat plenty of dairy right now (almost 3 weeks in, 5 pounds down) but I may try to work it down next month a bit. I love cheese and I just measure it out so as to not over eat.
Also get a food scale for sure!!

Yup! There are lots of vegetarian ketoers. Instagram is great for inspiration. Check out @veganketomeals on IG.
Heads up, you may feel depleted quicker when working out! Happens to non-vegetarian ketoers and not a big deal. Many many ketoers lose weight without exercise at all.
What should my goal be for macros? I’ve heard staying under 20 net carbs is the best. Also read that for weight loss, minimizing dairy is best?
I’d use a calculator like this: https://www.tasteaholics.com/keto-calculator/ to start
All the calculators vary a little but from what I’ve been reading, you’ll want to use a calculator to determine protein macros. Shoot for 20 net carbs or less, try to meet the protein macros the calculator tells you and then eat fat as desired. Because your body has fat, ive been reading you don’t have to meet the fat macros every day.
I’ve also read it takes 3-4 weeks to become “fat adapted” aka running off fat so it’s probably easier to keep fat a little higher these weeks to train your body
