Can you find a middle ground where you don't sound bored but don't feel like you're acting? I find smiling while I talk helps without feeling like I have to perform or anything like that.
I could try that! I'm willing to try anything at this point. I feel like I've been too focused on it, and it's starting to stress me out and take my attention off of even listening to the customer. I don't want that either!
I always just be myself, thats the easiest. I try not to be someone that I'm not it just doesn't work. It will come with practice don't worry you've got this. Good luck
When you speak in a low voice, it forces people to listen more intently, therefore completely understanding what you're saying and making the call better overall.
A comfortable speaking tone at a slightly slower-than-normal speed allows my voice to slightly soften, which in turn allows me to conserve energy. Take your time when talking and as you wrap up, thank the caller by name, and in your closing smile when you say goodbye.
