I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. Has anyone seen or discussed this Petition for SHRM must support Black Lives Matter & the LGBTQ community? I’ve grown increasingly concerned and disappointed in SHRM’s lack of vocal support for employment protections for LGBTQ+ and black and brown workers, especially as a black woman in HR. It seems like SHRM is overly focused on what is absolutely “legal” and not what is right. I’m of the opinion HR professionals must not only be “legal” but have a relevant and compassionate stance

After 13 weeks of WFH - I loved getting to spend nearly every waking minute with our 🐶 (he’d sleep in his bed in my office even when working late, and no matter where we go in the house he follows us around) I just started traveling to a client site again this week. Can you un-reject a job offer? Got offered a job out of industry but it was lighter than expected. I’m looking bc I’m way overqualified for my current gig and bored to death. I didn’t want to step down in pay or benefits though…. The difference isn’t huge but now I’m reconsidering taking the slight hit…. My current boss has recently decided to nitpick everything I do bc I have “too much experience.” I’m too good of a writer, etc. I feel like I’m losing my mind.
