My parents are moving back to their home country in Europe in a year and I am thinking of moving back with them when I graduate college. I was born and started my career here in US but am looking to see what my options are transitioning from US HR to Europe HR (preferably UK/english speaking, but open to partial French roles) I have about 6 mo as a generalist intern. Is this doable and do i have a chance of getting a remote job with an English speaking company? Advice/tips greatly appreciated!

If you’re interested in recruiting, there are a lot of opportunities! (*If you’re interested in being based in Spain, feel free to connect! We often hire English and French speaking recruiters)

It sounds like a great opportunity. I am pondering a move myself, especially with the state of politics and economy here. I also think WLB is valued far more in Europe.

You'll never know unless you give it a try. You are not a stranger in Europe since that's where your family is rooted originally. You will eventually get a job even with that experience.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

We have an org chart in our dashboard ATS/HRIS and so I clicked on my first day buddies name just for fun.

I was able to see her entire employee file..even her address. I was really freaked out and I went to another profile and the same thing happened, I was able to see this person's emergency contact.
