I'm sorry that happened to you. Your superior just showed you how incompetent she is. That is NOT a good way to coach. You followed procedures established by your company. You should get it off your chest and move on. Not worth the intellectual pain.
It seems they do this occasionally to good reps. It keeps us off balance and unsure of ourselves. Or at least it seems that way
I do not miss customer surveys. At all. Before policies turned into an absolute dumpster fire, surveys at the center I used to work at were disputed within reason. New management came and suddenly you were stuck with it. But I feel you OP.
