When I finally hit my breaking point, my main advice (from a pwc counselor) was to demand two weeks off to really allow myself to reflect and recharge. The basic idea was at that moment, I was too mentally emotionally drained to even BEGIN to think about what my needs and priorities were, and needed to spend significant time doing restful, life-giving things the first week, without looking for solutions, then continue doing those things while focusing on solutions the second week. Then come back with a plan for what needed to change to help you meet Your goals and make work sustainable for yourself. It honestly changed my life.
Nothing is more important than your health please take the time off work can wait!

I cried today at work after almost 4 years. I think i've reached my breaking point. With the new flexible vacation policy, I might apply for the full month leave to recharge.
Try to do one thing each day to honor your mental, physical and spiritual health. Reconnect with yourself. They don’t have to take long. Even 15 minutes of journaling or listening to music can do wonders for your mental health. 30 minute walk or YouTube video to move your body. A 10 minute meditation or sound bath on YouTube, etc. Making these little adjustments can make a huge difference in how you feel.
