I often hear numbers that partners start to earn 1/2 mil a few years after making it to partner.
What’s a ball park equivalent title for a f50/f100 (non tech) company that gets you to a similar comp. I am a director at an f20 (3 positions away from VP) and 5 from c-suite and I don’t anticipate making more than 400k in another 10 years even if all goes according to plan.
Ps I know the consultant answer is it depends but just trying to get some perspective.

Got a call today from Accenture about an SAP Associate Director position. Casual conversation, but numbers were thrown out 220-240 plus bonus. I've got a recruiter pitch, but what does that job really look like. Are those numbers in line with what is there - any additional wiggle room I might push for?

Expecting an offer from a smaller firm and they indicated they would offer in a range for the role I interviewed for but they’d want me to take a lower title (my title on here is out of date and firm titles are wonky but think Director to Sr Mgr).

Accepted a job offer at 7% hike in London. was told by the hiring director they happy to give a joining bonus. The HR changed hands; a guy from HR introduced himself as the head of talent & said joining bonus was not mentioned by business & the offer is without the bonus. I fell for it and thought the head of talent is calling because they really have no budget. I later found HR guy who introduced himself as head of talent is just a contractor/new to PWC. As I've accepted, should I let this go?

Doing some research for a friend who’s a freelance director. Her shoot just got canceled halfway through the location scout after 2 weeks intense prep and flying cross country. She was working w/ a production company who I assume included kill fees in the contract with clients, but she’s unsure what she should expect to receive compensation-wise. Other jobs were turned down to work on this one. What’s the standard protocol these days around last minute cancels and kill fees?

What has the job looked like in terms of trajectory, interesting work, compensation? very interested in the industry but concerned working at a utility will feel slow with a little trajectory, sort of like the government. Hello, What is salary range for associate director in EY GDS, Client Technology ?

My previous career path was in marketing for a notable real estate team. I make $60k annually as a marketing director (laughable, I know). I left without another job lined up because my boss was atrocious. 2 months later and my entry level salary at a financial firm is $58k. Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith that something better is out there.

Curious to know which offer you would take and other considerations (both are fully remote):

Offer 1: Product Manager, seed round start up, $170K base, $20k annual bonus target, options currently valued at $56k with 4 year vest.

Offer 2: Director of Revenue Operations, privately held global company (11 years old), $240k base, $20k annual bonus target, no equity.

Currently working for a global tech company on a decent-ish salary where I've been two years. The work is ok. It can be interesting at times, and most of the time I'm left to my own devices to get on with my work. I randomly applied for a higher level director position with a competitor on a similar role (less client exposure, more internal work) and now been offered the role with a 33% pay increase, but now I'm not sure whether to accept for the upheaval etc. Any advice?

Do Titles or levels (L5, L6) really matter vs. company brand and pay? Just got a FAANG offer that is close to 50% more than my current comp. I’m probably going to take it. The role is reasonably new and has a vague title. It’s not Director or Head or anything. It’s more like just Strategy and Sales Support. Could this impact me in the long run? I’m probably overthinking is but change is always a little scary.
