Gearing up for a corp strategy interview... any tips? What's the typical interview structure? Interviewing with Manager, Director and SVP

Just scheduled an interview for a manager position in the industry. First interview is with a director from a big 4 competitor. Shouldnt the company folks be interviewing me? Is this common practice?

Hi Friends, I need help! I interviewed for my current position as Director of Marketing and Sales and gave a 60-70k salary range. I was hired on at 55k base with a 6,000 annual bonus putting me at 61k. They low balled me because I have 8 years of marketing experience but 0 sales. I been there 7 months now and have not started the sales side of things because they still have not provided me with a computer that can handle the software I need. Can I justify a raise? I’m killing the marketing side.

I had an interview with 2 senior managers last week for an industry position and it went super well. All behavioral questions. I have an in person interview this week with a director of the group and will be shown around the office. Would you expect this one to be harder or more like trying to figure out if you are a good fit for their group like the previous one? Am interviewing for a director, product role at a SaaS unicorn fintech. Currently a principal/associate partner in a boutique strategy firm, have 16 years of total work experience. Would you know if I am interviewing at the right level? (Still learning how the levels in a product organization match against consulting levels). Any pointers?

Hello! I'm currently a product designer at a startup and we're currently hiring for a Lead Product Designer. I've been helping my director write up an interview format and was wondering if there was anything different about lead designer interviews? When I was going through the interview process at my company I had the following steps: phone screen, hiring manager screen, onsite (portfolio review, design collab, stakeholder collab, eng collab). Any additional info will be much appreciated!

Kpmg 🐠- I have 15 years of direct experience and interviewing. Firm says I am at manager level but I am aiming for director. Have been M at Deloitte and an SM doing internal consutling for F15 company. Should I accept an M level role? Just want to get feedback. Thanks

What percent salary increase would you need to take a lower title?
Expecting an offer from a smaller firm and they indicated they would offer in a range for the role I interviewed for but they’d want me to take a lower title (my title on here is out of date and firm titles are wonky but think Director to Sr Mgr).

It’s a small startup. HR interviewed me and asked all the hard hitting questions (how do you get design inspiration, how do you deal with design roadblocks, what sets you apart for this role?) which I thought was odd for a screening interview.

They made some affirmative noises then said the next step would be a design test (one pager) which I would present to a panel of interviewers including the CMO.
Anyone else think this is odd?

Anyone from Deloitte or any similar big four firm exit to Capital One as a senior manager or a director? I’ve been applying to roles and getting nothing back. Seven years of experience in the cyber security field and two years at a big four. Also just redid my résumé as well. I would love any referrals or a point in the right direction. @Capital One

Have a first stage interview coming up at another Big 4. It’s with a director, which I wasn’t really expecting. Is this normal for first round? And what should I expect at director-level interview?

I never had a phone screen or interview with HR but the call is set with 2 managers, consultant, and a director level.

What do you think of this in terms of how long the process might be?
