Since WFH, does anyone else find it difficult to start on new projects mid-day? I feel like once I hit that afternoon slump, any type of motivation is gone. Any tips to stay afloat? 😂

Have been having random bouts of lower back pain that take about a week to clear up - haven’t had any major documented back injuries but have been sitting a lot with WFH. Any tips from folks around WFH equipment, stretches or exercise that helps with this? I’m going to my primary care phys next week just to get a confirmation that it’s not something more serious

I have this inner voice screaming at me to get stuff done, but sometimes can’t get myself moving and sit on my phone for long periods of time instead. Something I’ve struggled with throughout WFH is feeling so distracted by every other thing around me and in my life that needs to be taken care of. I feel like when I was at the office I was mainly focused on work and now my mind wanders in a million directions. Does anyone relate and/or have tips to compartmentalize and stay focused? Love the flexibility of wfh but it’s truly been a nightmare for me in terms of productivity.

Like many of us, I have been WFH for almost two years now (and will continue for the foreseeable future). I use a standing desk and split time between standing and sitting, but my current chair just isn’t cutting it anymore. Being an avid golfer, I feel that my puffy, soft +$300 La-Z-Boy office chair that I purchased just year ago is doing more damage to my back than good. Anyone here returned back to the office? My company’s (industry) making everyone come back in and my team is doing hybrid. 2 days wfh and 3 days in person. I’m supposed to start going in next week. I started this job during the pandemic so a part of me is excited to meet people in real life and see the cool office but a part of me is fearful of covid still and the delta variant even though I’m fully vaxxed. Tips for calming these worries? Those that have returned, what has your experience been?

Do people have tips on how to manage ADD/ ADHD and the feeling of restlessness? I have a mild case of ADD and in the last 2 years have found myself becoming increasingly distracted and less productive at work. I work on whatever that’s in front of me for 10 mins and suddenly a new thought/ question pop up in my head and I switch to chasing that down. The work from home situation also made me become less focused and I feel increasingly guilty and restless.

Starting a new entry level role. Training and work will be remote for time being.
I love that the role is wfh but with being new and minimal experience I’m nervous about the online training and being able to understand everything with it explained online via in person. Or if I have a question who to ask lol?
