Any experienced consultants got promoted after 1 year in?

I’m looking to do a masters in Europe next year and already started looking at some potential universities. What top tier Universities would you guys recommend? I’m looking to do a Masters in CS with ML/AI major/track (each university calls it something else).

What is the most you spent on at-home office furniture and do you hate yourself for it now that you're returning to work?

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

Do other consulting firms require everyone to have firm initiatives (e.g. recruiting or white papers)? These initiatives are such a time suck and distract from client work.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

I have around 4 years of experience in manual testing And want to switch to Automation testing.

I have done API testing using POSTMAN and Load testing using JMETER for few months.

So,which one is better to continue learning w.r t automation testing scope.
