Hey guys,
I’m currently a quality control analyst in the biopharma/gene therapy field making 72k base in the Houston area. I’ve been working here for 2 years and my company is well established and the job is easy, but I honestly just want higher pay. I see companies (smaller and larger) that potentially can give me that but would it be worth it? I’m having a hard time finding out what opportunities/paths I can take and what amount of $ would be worth moving jobs for. Any insight is appreciated!

I’d like input!

I am currently a charge nurse and am in a “Pathway to Leadership Program” that will come with promotions into leadership/administration. I am concerned that going through the leadership ladder will lead to a lot of politics.

I am thinking of getting a masters of healthcare informatics, and would love input from people in both industries and any advice you have!

Would you continue into the nursing leadership ladder or go into health informatics (which also has leadership!)?

I’ve been searching for an in-house role for about three and a half months now. I’ve had many recruiter phone screens, several interviews and rounds of interviews with different companies. Still waiting on two to decide but it’s taking forever.

I’m so ready to transition and am getting a little discouraged by the search. 6 YOE, litigation, interviewing only for claim litigation and/or coverage roles.

Is this normal? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Here's a question, I see that you can apply to jobs with just your resume, and there isn't an opportunity to include a cover letter. This astounds me because that's really where a business can learn your values and what you can offer them. Does anyone recommend a way around this? I thought about uploading a two page resume with the cover letter included. It seems a loss not to include that edge.
