Do you ever hyper focus on a person? Not in a romantic way but I tend to hyper focus on people I like but probably won’t see again and it makes things that should be happy memories sad.

How many times I met someone for an hour and they lingered in my mind for months? Oh more than a few, yes. I think that’s called a crush.

Hmmm I think I know what you mean OP and yes I have done this a few times. It sort of starts to feel like this little black cloud following you around when you think about that person and you are right it is very sad.

Wanted to share this somewhere.
My father has been very aggressive and keeps on creating quarrel like situations at home day in and day out.
I care for him a lot. However, i have tried both calm and aggressive tones during quarrels, but it also didn't help.
Now it's becoming unbearable to keep on getting involved with his quarrels over little things... considering this scenario I am also not proceeding with matrimonial process as not sure how the girl will handle this

Any suggestions?

I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My mother-in-law says he’s worked on things, but it’s been 10 years of this and I’m not sure I want such behavior around my wife and our kids since we’re trying to conceive soon (cont).

I am devastated. Ive been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years we were taking about getting married and having kids. Then I discovered he was also in another relationship - 2 years in.
He promised her all the same sweet stuff. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself but I'm not sure I can recover from this.

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. Should she get certifications to give her a shot at adtech?Too late?

WFH Vs WF Office Vs Hybrid, Which one should you take?
If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.

I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)
