I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. My firm typically does insurance defense, but we take plaintiffs cases here and there. Is it typical that work done by associates on contingency cases isn’t counted toward their billable hour requirements unless and until we receive our fee on the case? This is my first experience with this, but it’s hard for me to reach my hours as is, without spending time on non billable cases like this with no assurance that I’ll see billable credit at the end.

What has been the best role introduction you have heard from someone?

Never been in an SE or consulting or B2B sales role before but have a referral at Salesforce and have been in some informal conversations. I’m starting to freak out a bit now that maybe I can’t do it. I have a tech background so can handle that part, but perhaps strategy may be difficult. Anyone make the transition to an SE role that have some advice?

Is the way to train managers changing? I’m familiar with a cohort model where a group of new managers meet in person, and then go through some classes together over a period of 2-6 months. Is there a better or new model that people are using?
