Go meet with the specialist. She will test both you AND your partner. A dear friend of mine had a similar experience to yours (no trouble getting pregnant, but difficulty staying pregnant), and it turned out her husband’s sperm was being damaged inside his body. A quick outpatient surgery for him and she was pregnant two months later via IUI. Baby is due in December. There are so many things that aren’t structural (ie your uterus) that can contribute to this- your hormones, your partner’s sperm, the quality of your embryos… go get checked out and figure out what the issue is. You may well not need to go all the way to IVF, or you might absolutely need it, but there are lots of things in between! Good luck!
Thanks a bunch for sharing this!
Similar situation here - last year I had to miscarriages (one at 9 weeks, one at 12). Was referred to fertility specialist. All tests came back normal for my husband and I. We were told by fertility and regular OB that it appeared to just be terrible luck rather than a medical issue.
Our fertility doc talked to us about IVF, but we wanted to try one more time before jumping to IVF. We got pregnant naturally this spring, was monitored closely by fertility doc (was put on progesterone and baby aspirin) and am now in my third trimester with a healthy baby boy.
Sending you all the love and baby dust ❤️
Wishing you a super healthy pregnancy ahead!
Has anyone else been in such a situation before? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
